Artist Statement
“I find in music the perfect vocabulary to convey an experience where a simple beat can turn into a poem without words”
Daniel Ledrums (Daniel Velasco Serrano) is a DJ, music producer and creative entrepreneur based in Spain, with a career built between Venezuela and the international scene. His sound centers on Afro House, Melodic Techno, Progressive House and Latin-Tech — deep grooves, hypnotic atmospheres and organic percussion, produced for both the dancefloor and detailed listening. The name "Ledrums" comes from his early fascination with percussion-driven electronic styles, where kicks and toms carry the message. Before establishing his international career, he built his name across Venezuela's electronic scene: co-founder and instructor at a DJ academy in Caracas, headliner at every edition of Expo DJs Venezuela, and a regular presence at events including Centralia (The World Experience), The Box, and top festivals and clubs across Venezuela. He has released original music and remixes on Apple Music, Spotify and Beatport, and in August 2023 founded Nova Flavor Records, an independent label supporting new talent in electronic music, launched with his own release "On the Inside". Today his focus is live performance, original production and select collaborations with labels and brands.
