“I find in music the perfect vocabulary to convey an experience where a simple beat can turn into a poem without words”
My interest in art has been there since I was very young, expressing what I feel through music, a pencil and paper. What started as a simple hobby turned into a professional achievement. I've always identified with electronic music — not because of one style or genre, but because of its wide range and the way it delivers a message with just kicks and claps. I've felt at home in percussion-driven styles like Afro House, Tech House and Techno, where a couple of kicks and toms are the protagonists — hence the origin of my artist name, "Ledrums." Still, I enjoy mixing everything from a trance session to the most commercial side of Future House, Big Room or Electro, because I have the versatility and the spark to combine these genres and make the fusion feel magic.
What is Ledrums? Simple: it's a passion, an impulse, a human instrument — it's the feeling translated into everything I put on stage. Every track I pick, every set, each one has a why and a for-what, a when and a where, and even when I improvise I'm chasing that connection that shows me my audience is enjoying and getting the best of me. I take my shows very seriously: I put time not only into curating a good playlist, but also into producing unique pieces like remixes, mashups, edits and original tracks.
